Follow-ups - Mapping and Coordinating your Immigration Future

So, you're now in the US after a lot of planning and probably a far bit of time has passed. You might even be living the dream they put in all the ads. Congratulations and welcome to the next stage in your life and career.

Let's not forget, your status in the US needs to be carefully managed to ensure you do all the things required of you. Remember, you have a contract with the US Government to do this.

  • We will provide you with a key schedule of the tasks that need to be undertaken as you go. These tasks can include any renewals of your visa status, applying for work authorisation for a spouse and any advice on your next steps, which might be to secure a green card or even naturalising as a US citizen
  • We will maintain a schedule of these tasks and events, remind you of each one long before they are due and remain at your disposal to undertake compliance and applications if required
  • We are also here to help with the logistical aspects of you new life, from where the kids go to school, health insurance, banking and dozens of other things you may need along the way.

Summary

We will do all of this for you, most often as a fixed flat-rated fee or, if preferred, on an hourly basis.

Your consultant will outline all the possibilities during the discovery stage, including the potential of taking advantage of our various monthly payment plans, if fees reach a certain level.

Please see our Terms and Conditions of Business for all elements to our services.

We very much look forward to working with you.

Visa or Green Card - The Final Step

Armed with your petition approval,  it will be time to prepare for your visa or green card application process to secure the stamp in your passport or the green card that proves you can do what you need to do in the US. This step is every bit as important as the petition stage and must be treated with similar diligence.

This will be done either by an adjustment of status (if switching from another visa inside the US) or consular processing (if outside the US).

  • We will advise all forms and evidence
  • We will edit, correct and perfect all forms and evidence
  • We will then form it into its final submission format
  • Depending on which type of application is being made, we will then either apply online for you or book you an appointment to present your application in person.
  • We will advise on all aspects of "Interview Tricks and Etiquette"
  • We will forward any official updates, decisions and requests for further evidence concerning your case
  • Finally, we will receive and forward your visa or green card approval notice

Advisory - Setting the Scene

Now that we know exactly which route to take, it's time to map out essential case functions and advise on the component stages.

If yours is a case that involves a petition, then a visa or green card stage later, we will probably split our advisory into these two components.

  • First, we will provide our case questionnaire for you to provide key information about you or your company
  • We will also provide a list of specific evidence to collect for the case, including guidance on the correct formats and where to obtain it

Petition - The Key Component

Your petition is the jump-off point for your case. It establishes and proves the basis of your qualification.

If yours is a case that involves a petition, then a visa or green card stage later, we will probably split our advisory into these two components.

  • We will receive all evidence and information
  • We will edit, correct and perfect all evidence and information
  • We will then form it into its final submission format
  • Depending on which type of application is being made, we will then either apply online for you or post your full application pack, including forms, evidence and any personal statements you need to make to expain any aspects of your case to USCIS. We will give you a specific email address so that you have the option to see what's going on at all times or leave it to us to deal with.
  • We will forward any official updates, decisions and requests for further evidence concerning your case
  • Finally, we will receive and forward your case approval notice, which largely means it will be time to apply for adjustment of status (if switching from another visa inside the US) or consular processing (if outside the US)

This is how we arrive at a solution, form your case and handle each component part of it, from an inital chat to getting you on the plane and beyond.

Discovery - Planning your Solution

You will either have a definitive idea of exactly what you need to do and for how long, or you won't.

Our role at this stage is to just have a chat and figure out your needs, your aspirations and the things you have to prove so that you can pursue them.

  • Free initial consultation to discuss your requirements, which you access any time  here
  • Initial advisory report on potential options, their timelines and costs
  • Ongoing dialogue to fine tune it all to your best option
  • Brief US employers/sponsors or other 3rd parties to highlight their role and obligations in the process about to unfold
  • Once you are ready to start the process, to set you up on our internal systems and register you and any 3rd parties with the relevant USCIS systems

What we do for You
